The Attic Room Design Ltd is located in a beautiful rural location with our offices based on a working farm. Not only do we have our office mascot, Maggie the dog (photographed with Emily) and the occasional entrance from the ducks on wet day, we also find lots of different creatures from time to time roaming about.

Today, Shaun our Retail Director found a female crested newt so we thought we’d show everyone who follows our blog a photo!!

Glorious Day for Harvey Nichols

A team from The Attic Room spent the night in Manchester last night installing a brand new retail site for makeup brand Stila. The new site in Harvey Nichols includes a consultation area, tester bar as well as offering a wide range of makeup for eyes, lips & cheeks and face to purchase. A makeup artist will be working on the retail site to offer advice and makeovers to Stila’s customers.

… and more local this time!! Whilst out and about in Market Harborough at lunchtime today, Emily spotted Heston Blumenthal as he was filming for a new series he is making on Channel 4!

This time, Heston is testing out which biscuits are best when dunking in tea.. It all happened at The Old Grammer School, in the centre of the town and one of the oldest landmarks there.

We will be looking forward to watching the series to see if we can spot Emily in the background!

Marie and Debbie who will be running the sister company, also based at East Langton will be offering the following services: wide format digital print for temp to permanent solutions, these include; self adhesive print, mounted boards, backlit duratrans, paper prints, window graphics, canvas and self adhesive cut vinyls.

The Attic Room Design Ltd is a fast expanding full service retail design agency working with a wide portfolio of premium brands. Based in rural Leicestershire we have three new opportunities within the company due to continual expansion.

Warehouse Manager
The Attic Room Design Ltd is looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager. The position commands a person with a hands on approach who can organise a fast moving Warehouse on a day to day basis. In charge of two staff you will need excellent communication skills, the ability to organise staff and take on administrative duties. The job is physically demanding and the candidate must have the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Due to recent expansion, The Attic Room Design Ltd is looking for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to help run our busy office as well as give admin support to each department within the business. The candidate will need to be confident, organised, well mannered and able to handle a number of tasks at any one time.

Creative Junior Designer
We are looking for a new member for our busy creative department that would suit a recent college leaver or graduate. The successful candidate other than having a flair for 3D Design, must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of 3-D studio max. Photoshop, In Design, and Illustrator are also required. Working in a close knit and friendly team you will be designing a wide range of POS and Retail for some of the biggest retail, fragrance and cosmetic brands in the world.

You must have own transport due to rural location.

We have sprung into action after the long Easter weekend with a retail installation for Decléor in John Lewis, Oxford Street in London early this morning. Whilst our team were putting the final touches to the site before it opened, they bumped into Sebestian Coe who was opening the new Olympics shop opposite our new Decléor site!
